User Application and Usage Guidelines

I. Resource Usage and Billing

The platform has now implemented resource usage and billing integration. Please follow the following usage principles.

II. New User Application

  1. Redbird Master's Students:

    • For the service application process, please specify Huang Tongge as the advisor.
    • When applying, please indicate that Huang Tongge is your advisor and provide necessary personal information and research project details.
  2. PhD Students:

    • For the service application process, please specify your professor as the advisor.
    • When applying, please indicate your professor as your advisor and provide necessary personal information and research project details.

III. Graduating Students

  1. Data Backup and Transfer:

    • Please complete the backup, transfer, and deletion of user data on the platform within 15 days before graduation.
    • Follow the relevant procedures to submit a service cancellation request through the one-stop service hall.
  2. Account Handling:

    • After graduation, your account will be deactivated. Please ensure that all important data has been backed up and transferred.

IV. User Transfer

  1. Redbird Master's Students Continuing to PhD:

    • If you are continuing to a PhD program after graduation, please transfer your account to your professor's team.
    • After the account transfer, the billing for the user will be charged under the professor's name starting from the date of transfer.
  2. Transfer Process:

    • Contact your current advisor (Huang Tongge) and your future professor to explain the need for account transfer.
    • Submit an account transfer application, detailing the reasons and necessary information.
    • Notify the relevant management department to update the system records once the transfer is confirmed.

V. Bill Transfer

  1. Please contact Mr. Li Zhaolun, the HPC administrator, to set up or cancel a permanent bill proxy (either an assistant or a mentor) for the applicant (mentor) in the backend. Once set up, it takes effect immediately for the current month, and all bills from the current month onward will be transferred to the designated proxy. If the setup is done in the following month, it will take effect from that month onwards.:

VI. Other Important Notes

  1. Account Security:

    • Please keep your account information secure and do not share it with others.
    • Change your password regularly to ensure account security.
  2. Compliance and Proper Use:

    • Please comply with the school and platform regulations and use the resources appropriately.
    • Do not use the resources for illegal or unethical academic activities.
